• No cooling at all — tripped condensate safety switches, failed capacitors, and burned contactors are the most common culprits, and most are fixed in a single visit.
• Weak or warm airflow — dirty evaporator coils, iced-up refrigerant lines, and duct restrictions that make a healthy condenser look broken.
• Refrigerant leaks — found with electronic leak detection, repaired, and recharged by EPA 608–certified techs. We never “top off” a leaking system and call it fixed.
• Short cycling — an oversized or failing unit that starts and stops constantly, wearing itself out and never dehumidifying the house.
• Strange noises — grinding fan motors, chattering contactors, hissing lines. Noises are the system telling on itself early; the fix is cheaper now than in August.

New installations start with a Manual J load calculation — we measure your home rather than copying the old tonnage — and we’ll walk you through SEER2 efficiency options so you can decide whether a high-efficiency unit earns back its premium in your utility rates. Every quote is flat-rate, in writing, and good for 30 days.
