24/7 Emergency HVAC
No heat in January or no cooling in July — a live person answers, a stocked truck rolls, and most emergencies are fixed the same visit.
Some HVAC problems can wait for Monday. A house dropping through the 50s with a snapped polar vortex outside — or an upstairs nursery at 90°F in a heat dome — cannot. Our emergency line is answered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, by a person who can actually dispatch a technician.
What counts as an emergency
- No heat when it’s freezing — frozen pipes start around 20°F outside; we treat every winter no-heat call as urgent.
- No cooling in extreme heat — especially for homes with infants, elderly family members, or medical equipment.
- Water where it shouldn’t be — an overflowing condensate pan or a frozen-then-thawing coil can soak a ceiling in hours.
- Gas or CO alarms — leave the house, call your utility’s emergency line first, then call us for the repair. We take these calls ahead of everything else.
- Electrical burning smells — shut the system off at the breaker and call. A melting blower motor or wire connection is a fire risk, not an odor.
What it costs
Emergency work is quoted flat-rate before we start, same as daytime work — the after-hours dispatch fee is stated when you call, not sprung on the invoice. Comfort Club members get priority dispatch and a waived diagnostic fee, and Total Care members skip the after-hours surcharge entirely. That’s not a sales line; it’s the reason the membership exists.
How it works
From first look to final walkthrough
-
Diagnosis
A live dispatcher gets your details and a technician calls back within minutes with honest triage — including free stopgap advice for the meantime.
-
Upfront Quote
The flat repair price is quoted and approved before work starts, even at 2 AM. After-hours rates are stated up front, never discovered on the invoice.
-
Repair
Trucks are stocked with the igniters, capacitors, contactors, and motors that resolve the large majority of emergency calls in a single visit.
-
Warranty & Follow-up
Emergency repairs carry the same written labor warranty as scheduled work, plus a follow-up check if the failure pointed at a larger problem.
